We're a brand new Mr. Electric franchise in Oak Park and we're building our first team from the ground up. Specific Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems
- Perform installations including lighting, outlets, switches, panels, EV chargers, and other electrical components
- Evaluate customer concerns and provide clear explanations and recommended solutions
- Perform electrical safety inspections and identify potential hazards
- Accurately document work orders, quotes, and invoices using field service software
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional appearance
- Follow all electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every job
Job Requirements:
- Journeyman electrician license preferred — candidates currently licensed in any Illinois municipality encouraged to apply
- 3+ years residential electrical service experience preferred
- Physically able to lift heavy objects as necessary
- Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
- Professional appearance and personality
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls without assistance
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
